We receive a lot of positive response to our programs. Here are a few samples of the great feedback we receive.

Partners in Parenting Education

"I cannot tell you how admiring and appreciative I am of the PIPE program and curriculum. Above all, I like the way you have made building the relationship central."

- Robert Emde
University of Colorado Health Science Center
Program for Early Developmental Studies
Denver, Colorado

"I think that what makes PIPE so valuable to first time parents is the way the curriculum not only helps first time high risk parents enhance their ability to parent, but it helps the young parents themselves, who often did not have a caring, capable parent in their early years."

- Rita Beam
National Center for Children, Families and Communities
Denver, Colorado

"I use PIPE with my students five days a week. It has been wonderful to see our moms form a loving bond with their babies through practice and fun but practical assignments. They learn about the emotional development with their child without reading a dry textbook."

- Victoria Bennington
LYFE (Program for Pregnant and Parenting Services)
New York City Schools
New York, New York

"The PIPE curriculum provides a fun way to teach parents about their baby's amazing capabilities to learn and relate."

- Pilar Baca, M.S., R.N.
National Training Director
National Center for Children, Families, and Communities
Denver, Colorado

"I love this program! It shouts greatness but can be given to the client like a gentle whisper."

- Nurse

"PIPE is so easy to use and the parents love it. There's just enough information that I feel confident - but it also allow me to be flexible and creative."

- Parenting Educator

Emotional Beginnings

"The Emotional Beginnings Curriculum has been a wonderful asset to our program. The materials are easy to follow and the variety of teaching strategies considers the multiple learning styles of our participants. Our childcare providers receive reinforcement of the material covered by hearing the information as well as completing the activities in the handbook. The in-service follow-up visits help us build emotional connections with the providers, which in turn benefits children's families.

- Angie Wendt
Early Childhood Specialist
EduCare Boone County
Columbia, Missouri

"The real strength of the Emotional Beginnings program for family child care providers is the home visitation. Each provider's situation is so different. The format of Emotional Beginnings allows the Site Coordinator the opportunity to address the individual needs and skills of each caregiver."

- Richelle Ravencamp
Lincoln County Coordinator
Childcare Resource and Referral
Hugo, Colorado

"What I like best about the Emotional Beginnings program was that the materials and format increased our caregivers emotional connectedness. The program met our needs and more."

- Helen Young
Center Director
Clayton Early Head Start
Denver, Colorado

"Emotional Beginnings is a program that trains and mentors providers in meeting the emotional needs of infants and toddlers. . . It builds and is strength based. From the very beginning, Emotional Beginnings recognized the need to care for the caregiver. Unlike most early intervention models that focus exclusively on the children, Emotional Beginnings has a good grasp of what is often missing in early care and education - TLC for the workforce."

- Jennifer Burnham
Early Childhood Mental Health Advocate
Colorado Office of Resource and Referral Agencies
Centennial, Colorado

"I think the staff in the Infant and Toddler rooms were surprised at how much they need to learn. What I liked best about Emotional Beginnings was the way it taught the staff to interact with both the children and the parents."

- Dottie Martinez
Dotties Day Care, Inc.
Thornton, Colorado

"I was surprised how much I enjoyed the site visits and having another adult to bounce things off of. Emotional Beginnings is such a great program and I wish I knew about the Emotional Beginnings program when I was a new provider."

- Jay Skinner
Home Care Provider
Jay's Dino-mite Child Care
