Emotional Beginnings is a curriculum and on-site training process used by childcare professionals to increase the emotional availability and relationship building skills of infant and toddler caregivers.

The Emotional Beginnings Curriculum

1. Site Coordinator's Guide (In-Service presentation plans for teaching topic and guidelines for facilitating on-site, skill building visits)

2. CD-ROM of handouts for Caregivers

3. An Instructional DVD

4. A Caregiver Handbook

  • Each caregiver participating in the program needs a Handbook.

  • The Handbook has 10 chapters, one for each topic. Included are information pages, and activities to completed during the in-service session or during a site visit.
